Signs of a Pesticide Free Zone
I saw this Pesticide Free Zone sign during a garden tour in Indianola,
Washington. What a beautiful sign. All right maybe not everyone would agree it’s beautiful; however, I do, since it conveys a message to anyone who enters that this garden doesn't need any -icides to thrive. It may well be a healthier garden with far less problems, because of this lack.
I signed up to get my own free sign for my garden space. I want those that traipse through the landscape to know they can safely roll on the grass, stick their noses into my roses, pick the blueberries and eat them, touch the plants, and walk on the gravel without worrying about any -icides residue. Just so long as they don't roll on the plants, stick blueberries up their noses, or pick the flowers making me look for human pest controls!
If you are a Washington resident and would like a free sign just fill out the form at Washington Toxics Coalition. This is for a limited time. For other areas, you can buy the sign for a suggested donation of 15.00 or more. Proceeds go for a good cause. You can find them at the Pesticide Free Zone under merchandise or go here where I stripped out the frame so you could go right to the order page.

Thanks for the heads up! Going to the site to get our sign now... very cool!

Hi! I'm putting up a post about these today too. Was looking for sign order info and found your page. You're pretty high up in the search hierarchy! Can you believe it froze to the low 20s again last night? What is this, December??
